Well guys at last the time is near. We hope you enjoy your adventure as much as we did and were looking forward to following your every move. We will be following South Africa with interest as we didn't visit there and are hoping to head out there in Sept 08. Live the dream and enjoy every minute you'll be surprised how time flies. Hi to you both, Lemon happy birthday hope the flight was ok and you wore the socks!!. This is our second week in retirement and we still feel we are on holiday. Off to Manchester 18th,then onto Eygpt for a week before Christmas and then after to Cyprus for 5 weeks, but enough of us. Can't wait for the update have and any photos you have taken have a fabulous time. love from Glam and Ray xx

This is our blog for our forthcoming around the world adventure!!!. As you know we have both been thinking about living the dream and travelling around the world for a long time and we have now decided its now or never!! We hope this blog will take you on the journey with us and keep you updated of where we are and what we are up to. So we don't miss out on anything please keep in touch with us by posting messages or by sending us emails to keep us updated on life at home.
We leave the UK on the 5th November and head for Cape Town where we will spend two weeks before catching a flight to Singapore. After enjoying the sights we travel overland through Malaysia and settle down for the festive period in Thailand. Our next stop is the shores of Australia where we hope to explore the sights and sounds and maybe learn to surf!! Its then a quick flight over to visit the Kiwis in New Zealand for 3 months. We are then on our way home but not before stopping in Fiji to chill out as you can imagine the stress of not working for a year!!!. Final destination is the USA for a month before finally arriving back on UK soil early November.
