After our hectic adventures we have finally hit the beach, plenty of sun, sun & more sun. First stop, we on the island of Langkawi , beautiful powder white sand, blue sea and of course lots of palm trees, paradise( by the way today over 30C).
We did hire a car for a day to check out the island (very small). We took a cable car ride to the top of the jungle where you can see Thailand but then headed straight back down to the beach. We are officially beach bums and we are loving every minute of it. However when we feel that this lifestyle is getting too much for us and we feel a wee bit tired we have a little siesta but then head straight back to the beach. As you can probably imagine life is quite stressful - not!!
Can you spot Dan?Our hotel is called Sunset Beach and you can see why,every evening we have been watching the sun go down before making the most important decision of the day-where to have dinner!! Thanks for everybodys comments on the blog and emails so far. They really do make our days and we do miss you all. Its Mike's birthday tomorrow and we plan to do the same but also hire some jet skis and maybe go island hopping. I hope this warms you all up and helps you to get over the winter blues

Good morning King and Queen. These are not the type of pictures we at home want to be seeing on a Monday morning. A bit of rain would be nice so at least then you can imagine us at home easier. Mike, Liverpool are flying at the moment and have gone above the scum. The pictures look amazing and that tree is weird, it looks like it has a Siamese twin or is that Dan playing hiding seek. Happy Birthday Son, 28 today! The photos look wonderful, slightly different from the very cold and windy Cawsand at the moment! This is the first year I haven't got the Christmas tree up for your birthday! Sorry we couldn't hear you properly on Skype, we'll have to try again. Happy Birthday Mike. Can't believe we have signed on in time!!!!! Would say hope it's a good one, but from your blog it looks like it will be fantastic. Ella said she will sing you Happy Birthday when you get back - she will even get a Scooby Doo cake for you!! The more Leon reads the more he gets jealous, so keep a look out on your next flights as the lion may be roaring behind you! Instead he has to keep slaving away down the restaurant mopping up after slobs like Lee (not you Ange!!).Man that boy can sure eat!
Mike - what is going on with the barnet? Are you challenging Mufasa?? Dan - hope you are buying lots of new Xmas Decs, I know how you like to get the best ones from abroad - just make sure you don't 'mess up the exchange rate'(I know this was just an excuse to Mike!) this time ha ha!!
May e-mail some pics next time if we can work out the technology! Ella is a sheep in her Nativity so hopefully will get a pic of that. We are sooo put out that she hasn't got a starring role - had a word with the teachers but they sent me away calling me a pushy mum (cheek!! ).

This is my second attempt today to write to you. My computer crashed half way through last time, so I had to chill with Phil and Fern for 20 minutes before trying again!! Nothing to report from here. We are both stressed with work and Mark want's a new job. We have not had a day off together for ages. I saw him more before we were married (he never complains though!!).
Your blog is well funny. Your trip to the festival sounded scary, but we laughed our head's off (sorry). We are still soooo jealous and are talking about the travelling thing, but I get scared leaving the house let alone jetting it around the world. The nearest we will get to a holiday is bloody Bodmin!! Have put my crimbo tree up, i know its early but we were bored the other night. It's a black tree with a silver and purple design. It looks crap as Mark was team leader on the decorations this year. Hope you had a nice birthday Mike and Dan spoilt you. Just off to face the wonders of Plymouth city centre to get a hair cut.
